ENBIS-15 in Prague
6 – 10 September 2015; Prague, Czech Republic Abstract submission: 1 February – 3 July 2015ENBIS-15 Conference in Prague, Czech Republic
Dear colleagues,
the 15th Annual Conference of ENBIS (ENBIS-15) will take place in the historic city of Prague (Czech Republic). The conference sessions are scheduled for September 7th to 9th, with the pre-conference administrative meetings and workshops taking place on September 6th, and post-conference administrative meetings, workshops and an industrial visit taking place on September 9th and 10th. Please note that pre- and post-conference workshops as well as the industrial visit are to be booked separately from the main event. They include:
- A pre-conference workshop on "Measuring Uncertainty in the GUM (VIM) vs ISO 5725 (ISO 3534) Approaches: Which Statistical Viewpoint to Choose?" given by Rob Willink (New Zealand) and Franco Pavese (Italy), both from IMEKO TC21.
- A pre-conference workshop on "Generalized Regression – A Silver Bullet for Statistical Modeling?" given by Volker Kraft (JMP Academic Ambassador, Europe).
- A post-conference industrial visit to Staropramen Brevery.
- A post-conference ENBIS-15 Energy Day on "Modeling Smart Grids - Challenge for Stochastics and Optimization".
Please also note that prior to the ENBIS-15 the XXI IMEKO World Congress 2015 will be held in Prague from August 30th to September 4th. Representatives of IMEKO TC21 Committee and ENBIS Permanent Office decided to provide economic benefits to attendees of both events. For details please refer to the ENBIS-15 Registration subpage.

ENBIS Permanent Office discovered that some service providers have been offering participants the conference hotel bookings in Prague via unsolicited phone calls, citing the ENBIS Conference. Please note that neither ENBIS nor the local organizers have authorized any external provider to do so. Conference participants are expected to book their accommodation by themselves using the information given on the ENBIS website under the About the Venue section of the conference website.
