May 1, 2005: Most problems caused by the server being hacked into have been solved. Registration and abstract submission procedures are running again.

April 29, 2005: ENBIS server hacked, but problems now solved. As you may have experienced, there have been major problems with the website of ENBIS. In the previous weeks, hackers have targeted the server that ran the ENBIS website, and caused a lot of trouble.
Current situation: we think we have found a permanent solution to the problems. The site you are looking at now, runs on a new server. At the moment we are working hard to get all functionalities operational again.
Registration and abstract submission for the conference: because of the many technical problems of the previous weeks, the deadline of 30 April for abstract submission will not be adhered to rigidly. Please make sure that you submit your abstract before May 31st, though.
How about safety of credit card payments: payments by credit card are not handled by the server that runs the ENBIS website. In fact, the whole procedure is handled by a specialized firm on a secure server. Payments to ENBIS using the usual credit card procedure are safe.
If you need assistance: if you run into problems or have queries concerning these problems, please contact Jeroen de Mast.
