Jeroen de Mast and Albert Trip have received the Lloyd S. Nelson Award from ASQ's Statistics Division for their paper "Exploratory Data Analysis in Quality Improvement Projects". The award recognizes the article in the Journal of Quality Technology (vol. 39, 2007) having the greatest immediate impact to practitioners.

Two new Local Networks have been formed - isENBIS for Israel and ukENBIS for the UK. Members can go to My account (at the top, where it says you are logged in) and join whichever local network is appropriate for them.

The overwhelming majority of members voted for the option whereby the present Council and Exec were left in post for another year. There were 66 votes for this, 7 votes that agreed with the idea but wanted to vote this year and 1 vote to retain the old system. ...
