Author: Winfried Theis, Last updated 19-Mar-12 10:07
Invitation
The Dutch Chemometrics Society invites you
to the 26th Annual Symposium on
Chemometrics, on May 20, 2010 in Utrecht,
The Netherlands. This year’s edition will be
centred on two themes, namely Visualisation
and the use of Prior Knowledge.
Format
The Annual Symposium on Chemometrics of
the Dutch Chemometric Society aims at
presenting the current state of the art in
chemometric research in the Netherlands. It
is meant as a platform for the different
research groups to present their recent
work. It is held every year in May except
every 4th year when the International
Chemometrics Research Meeting (ICRM) takes
place.
This year, the symposium will be split in a
morning session around methods allowing the
integration of prior knowledge in models and
an afternoon session around visualisation.
Several speakers from various disciplines will
illustrate this, drawing upon their hands-on
experience.
Additionally, we hope to close the day with a
lively discussion around the use and abuse of
statistics in athletic sports.
