About Göteborg

Göteborg is situated on the west coast of Sweden, well connected to both national and international airports and railway networks. For further information, please see the travel section. In Göteborg everything is "just around the corner", and a wide variety of hotels, excellent restaurants, superb cultural attractions and fabulous shopping can be found within walking distance of the Congress. Göteborg is also well-known for its closeness to the sea, with a beautiful coastline and many islands and fishing villages. Travel

Göteborg has two main airports: Landvetter Airport (GOT), served by all major European airlines, and Göteborg City Airport (GCA), served by Ryanair. In addition, the railroad network connects Göteborg to other cities like Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen. There are also several ferry connections. Arrival by air
Bus from Landvetter Airport to Korsvägen (20 mins). Please find time table at www.flygbussarna.se/en/tidtabeller/gbglandvetter.pdf

Return ticket: 150 SEK

From Korsvägen you can catch

tram 6, direction Länsmansgården (to Chalmers)

Tram price:
20 SEK

The trams stop at Chalmers. Total time 40 minutes. Please find more information about Landvetter Airport at [www.lfv.se], for example where to find a taxi and rent a car.

350-450 SEK , preferable Taxi company - Taxi Göteborg

 

Arrival by train
At Drottningtorget, outside the station building, you will find the following tram for Chalmers

Tram 7, direction Tynnered
Bus 58, direction Skintebo

Arrival by car
