Special Interest Group/ Stochastic Modelling, Topic: “Sampling”

The session considers aspects of stochastic modeling and inference in sampling. In particular, the session intends to inform about recent developments in audit sampling and in standardised acceptance sampling. For a talk on the latter issue, we are happy to welcome David Baillie, the chairman of ISO/TC 69/SC 5 “Acceptance sampling schemes”. His presentation shall also serve as an initial step for further liaison activities with ISO/TC 69.
