ENBIS-8 in Athens

The 8th annual meeting of the European Network of Business and Industrial Statistics will take place from 22-24 September 2008, at Athens University of Economics and Business. Hotels close to the University are proposed on the hotel page.

After seven successful conferences ENBIS is happy to announce that our next annual meeting will take place in beautiful Athens, Greece, at Athens University of Economics and Business , as usual 22.-24. September 2008.

Parthenon As in the past there will be plenty of opportunity to network between statistical practitioners and statisticians from business and industry with academics from all fields of interest to business and industry. Besides talks from the participants there will be several in-conference workshops.

Keynotes will be given by Emmanuel Yashchin from IBM, Fabrizio Ruggeri, and Jeroen de Mast. More major talks will be given by our George Box Medallist 2008, Doug Montgomery, the Best Manager award winner, Thorsten Franz and our Young Statistician Award winner Martina Erdbrügge.
