Getting to the Venue

From the city centre, bus and tram are the most convenient forms of transport. On the tram, take any blue or yellow service towards Middlewood or Malin Bridge and alight at the University stop. Buses numbers 30, 120, 123, 51, 52 and 52a all stop within a few hundred metres of the venue. See the image below for where they stop.

Please note that the City’s tourist information office Welcome to Sheffield can offer discount rail travel in conjunction with East Midlands trains - which is the operator that covers London St Pancras to Sheffield. Booking forms for international and UK delegates are available here on its website and should be returned by e-mail to the address specified. Please note that because tickets are sent in advance, forms must be received 30 days prior to the event for International delegates and 10 days for UK delegates. There are some travel restrictions which are detailed on the forms and should be checked carefully prior to booking.

Pre-conference workshop on Introduction to Kriging using R and JMP given by Nicolas Durrande and Volker Kraft will be held in Lecture Theatre 10, the workshop on Organisational & Individual Certification of Competence Under The New ISO18404:2015 Standard on Six Sigma and Lean given by Tony Bendell in Lecture Theatre 3. The registration desk will be located at Lecture Theatre 4, beginning Sunday/ Wednesday/ Thursday at 8:30 CEST and Monday/ Tuesday at 8:00 CEST.
