Free ENBIS Webinar by Christopher McCollin on "Historical Published Maintenance Data: What Can It Tell Us About Reliability Modelling?"

30 April 2014; 12:30 – 13:30; Webinar

Christopher McCollin will talk about historical published maintenance data: What can it tell us about reliability modelling?

The webinar will take place on 30th April 2014, 12.30 to 1.30 CET (starts 11.30 in UK). It will be moderated by Shirley Coleman.

Reliability data are often readily available. Within the data, many interesting facts about the underlying physical system can be unearthed. Often the data mining can be carried out via creative data summaries and innovative graphical presentations. Such a comprehensive approach is required to model the whole maintenance system taking into account both the planned and unplanned events. Some typical data sets will be shown in the webinar and Chris will demonstrate how operational time to “failure” is converted into actual calendar time and from there to an understanding of the maintenance event. This methodology can be applied to many other datasets.
